There's five steps to effective dog training and the first four of those steps are pretty much identical. It's that fifth and final step where things change. You take a wait and see dog and you try to train them like a workaholic, the dog's going to be frustrated, you're going to be frustrated, the training is going to be ineffective. Two distinct paths for two distinct types of dogs. You've got to get it right. That's why I've put together a tutorial for you. I know that I can't train tater salad with the same approach that I took with Swagger or any of my other high drive border collies. Likewise, I can't train my border collies with the same slow approach that I've been taking with tater salad. Every dog needs this fifth step to be the correct step for them and when you get it right, it's unbelievable how fast your training will take off.
