안녕하세요 니노, 만나서 반가워요. 질문 하나 드릴게요. 왜 프리스타일을 선택했다고 생각하시나요? 그러니까 왜 프리스타일인가요? 그건 자연스럽게 나온 건데 자연스럽게 그렇게 된 이유는 우리가 항상 하는 일이 하루 종일 시퀀스를 훈련하는 것이기 때문이죠. 완성해야 할 동작의 시퀀스라는 연습이 있죠. 자, 일단 그 시퀀스를 완벽하게 익히고 나면 만족스럽고 행복해지죠. 이제 당신의 개가 그 시퀀스를 실행하는 데 얼마나 능숙한지 확인할 수 있습니다. 하지만 그 시퀀스가 계속 바뀐다면 개는 얼마나 잘할 수 있을까요? 개가 여전히 당신과 함께 구르고, 흐름을 타고, 무엇을 해야 할지, 각도가 변할 때 포지션이 바뀔 때 어떻게 동작이 이루어지는지 이해할까요? 개가 당신 주변의 환경, 즉 당신과의 근접성을 이해하고 있을까요? 그래서 프리스타일은 개가 핸들러와의 유대감을 얼마나 잘 이해하고 있는지 확인하는 것입니다. 흐름을 타는 것, 정확성, 그리고 우아하면서도 역동적인 움직임을 모두 동시에 수행하는 면에서 말이죠. 따라서 프리스타일은 개가 얼마나 유연하고 천 번은 훈련했을 법한 단일 시퀀스 없이도 얼마나 기술적인 움직임을 보일 수 있는지 보여주는 것입니다. 프리스타일에서는 다음에 무슨 일이 일어날지 개는 알지 못하지만 당신과 흐름을 타고 하나가 되고 싶어 한다는 것을 알고 있습니다. 무슨 일이 벌어지든, 무엇을 보든 상관없이 말이죠. 개는 그냥 아무거나 하는 게 아닙니다. 자신이 생각하기에 그렇게 보이는 것이 옳다고 믿기 때문에 행동하는 것이죠. 프리스타일에서 아무도 개에게 이렇게 보여야 한다고 지시하지 않습니다. 개 스스로 어떻게 보일지를 결정하는 것이고, 그것을 멋지게 해낸다는 사실은 개가 스스로 생각하는 패턴을 가지고 스스로 행동하고 있다는 뜻입니다. 그는 가능할 것이라고 생각조차 못 했던 것들, 그것이 바로 프리스타일의 본질입니다
Hi Nino, nice to meet you. I have a question for you. Why do you think you did choice for the freestyle? So why freestyle? That's something that came natural and the reason why that came natural is because what we do all the time is train sequences all day long right we have this exercise that you want to complete which is a sequence of actions. Now once you've mastered that sequence now you're satisfied right now you're happy now you can see how good your dog is actually in executing that sequence but what if that sequence would keep on changing how good would he be then? Would he still understand how to roll how to flow with you what to do how positions work even when the angles change when his position position changes does he understand where to be in you know in your environment your proximity so freestyling is just seeing how good your dog comprehends what attachment to its handler means when it comes to flowing when it comes to precision when it comes to being elegant and dynamic all at the same time so freestyle is actually him showing as well how good he is how fluid he can be how technical his movement can be without having this a single sequence which you have trained a thousand times. Freestyle is he doesn't even know what's going to happen but he does know that he wants to flow with you he wants to be one with you he can't no matter what you know what he sees and the thing is he doesn't he doesn't just do something he does something because he believes that is how it should look himself like nobody in freestyle nobody tells him this is how you should look he determines how it looks and the fact that he makes it look great that means the dog is on this you know on his own thinking patterns he's doing stuff that he thought was not even possible that's what freestyles about
