우리는 반려견이 그릇에 담긴 음식을 먹도록 길들이는 것 또한 중요하게 생각합니다. 반려견이 동물 병원에 머물러야 할 때가 있을 수 있기 때문에 이는 매우 중요합니다. 병원에서 그릇으로 식사를 해야 할 수도 있고, 위탁 보호를 받거나 여러분이 평소에 해주는 복잡한 방식들을 따라 할 수 없는 친구네 집에 머물러야 할 수도 있죠. 또는 반려견이 나이가 들었을 때, 아니면 단순히 여러분이 바빠서, 캠핑이나 대모험을 떠나야 해서 빨리 밥을 줘야 하는 날이 있을 수 있습니다. 그럴 때는 반려견에게 그릇으로 밥을 줘야 합니다. 만약 반려견이 모든 식사를 토플(topple)이나 돌돌 만 수건, 혹은 훈련 중인 여러분의 손으로만 먹도록 길들여졌다면 그릇으로 밥을 먹지 않을 수도 있습니다. 절 믿으세요, 저는 실제로 그런 경우를 봤습니다. 그래서 저는 항상 강아지 식사의 일부는 그릇에 담아 먹게 해왔습니다. 저는 강아지들이 그릇에 담긴 음식을 먹는 것을 즐기길 바랍니다. 감사합니다.
We want our dogs also to be conditioned to eat from a bowl. It's so important because there may be times when your dog is staying at a hospital. Maybe they need to eat their meals from a bowl there, or they're being boarded, or they're staying with a friend that they can't go to all the extensive things that you do. Or when they get older, or maybe you're just busy one day and you just have to feed your dog because you're going on a camping trip, a big adventure. You've got to feed your dog from the bowl. If the dog's been conditioned that all of their meals come from a topple or a rolled up towel or your hands as you train them, they may not eat from a bowl. Trust me, I've seen it happen. And so I've always taken a portion of my puppy's food and let them eat it from a bowl. I want them to be happy to eat food from a bowl. Thank you.
