릭 매트로 어떻게 균형 잡힌 식사를 만들까요? 일단 균형 잡힌 식사에서 시작해야 합니다. 이건 첼시가 릭 매트에 골고루 펴 바르고 있는 테이터의 생식 사료인데요, 가끔 저는 릭 매트 두 개를 꺼내서 펼쳐 놓기도 합니다. 이건 릭 매트를 채우는 게 목적이 아니라, 녀석이 구석구석 남김없이 먹었는지 확인하면서 또 다른 매트를 살펴보게 하려는 거예요. 그래서 저희는 반려견에게 생식을 급여하는데요, 첼시가 생채소를 꾹꾹 눌러 담는 걸 보실 수 있을 거예요. 테이터는 어떤 날은 식사의 일부를 그릇으로 먹고, 그러고 나서는 이렇게 릭 매트가 나오기를 기다립니다. 여기 녀석이 '무슨 일이야, 왜 이렇게 오래 걸려?'라는 듯이 기다리고 있네요. 자, 이렇게 완성입니다. 행복한 불독이네요. 앞으로 한두 시간 동안은 저걸 계속 핥아먹을 거예요.
How do we make a balanced meal out of a lick mat? Well it starts with having a balanced meal. So this is Tater's raw food that Chelsea is just spreading around the lick mat and sometimes I'll get two of these lick mats and spread them out. It's not about filling the lick mat, it's about giving him another mat to check out to make sure that he's gotten every nook and cranny. And so he gets our we feed our dogs raw and you can see Chelsea's just smashing in the raw vegetables. And Tater gets fed part of his meal some days in a bowl and then he goes and waits for his lick mat to go down like this. Here he is waiting saying what's going on, why is this taking so long? And there you have it. Happy Bulldog. He will lick at that off and on for the next hour or two.
