I'm making some puppy bombs. Are you familiar with puppy bombs? Looks like something you'd have around the house, right? When I know I have a puppy on the way, I start saving these. It's just a toilet paper roll, some homemade dog biscuits, and it's enriching for the puppy. First thing in the morning, I've got stuff to do, but I don't want a puppy being upset because they're left alone. Toilet paper roll. I make four cuts at each end, and actually that's the posh way to do it. You can just fold in the ends, you know, because you have no time. You can just fold them in. First time I do this with a puppy, I'll make it super easy for the food to fall out. But after they know there's food inside there, I make them work for it. It takes them a little bit longer and it's enriching for them. It's fun. Now, first couple of times you do it, I would hang around to make sure they're not eating the paper. But once you know they're just gonna tear it up and have fun, once they get the cookies out, let them have at it. And if you want the puppy to be more busy, dump more puppy bombs. Cheap, effective, allows the puppy to learn. You're not always gonna be around to babysit them. It's a great way to get them used to being alone in an expanse.
