triggered. I hate to say that word. When they um come across a distraction, the our goal is for them to look at the distraction and then look back at you. And you're going to give them comfort and confidence to know we can walk on by. Actually, I'm going to make this easier for you. I'm going to bring you over to the other side so that I will get between you and the distraction. So [clears throat] Janice says she has four dogs, a two, four, four, four. Those of you who have multiple dogs, do you walk them all on leash at the same time? That's I mean either they're really small or they are really really well uh behaved because multiple dogs if they um don't have a default to walk nicely beside you, that could be problematic. So, a seven without triggers or distractions. Unfortunately, we can't control those triggers or distractions when we're walking on leash. And so, um, unless you like go out at off times when nobody's around. I mean, that's possible, too. But wouldn't it be nice to have a dog that can walk on leash and you don't have to worry about it? That's the new program, my friends. It's called jaywalking. So, um, the goal is always to walk with a Jay in your leash. So, I should have brought my little stuffed dog. So, the the leash attaches to the dog, maybe to the uh collar, maybe to a harness, and then there's a J in that leash. That's the goal. J to walk with a J. You want to be a Jwalker. Not the kind that gets arrested for doing things they shouldn't be doing. But a J walker is a dog who can walk their dog on a loose leash because the Jay's always there. The Jay is always there no matter what the distraction. So jaywalking is the name of our brand new program. And um the it's I mean I'm biased of course, but I think it's amazing. And um it's so when you train your dog to walk on leash, here's the challenge is so often people train their dog to walk on leash when they need their dog to walk on leash. So jaywalking happens all of the foundational training happens off leash in your home. Now, I do in the program, I do use a leash um when I'm doing the training because I'm training like a 15 a 15week old rescue puppy that I think we we'd had him less than a week. Um so, it Kim's puppy waffles. So, I keep him on a leash because I'm training in the building and that was just ridiculous because it's so big and there's just so many distractions. But when I train my own my own puppies, I train them in a smaller area, maybe a bathroom, maybe a bedroom, a very small room in the house. That's where I train all the fundamentals for jaywalking. So jaywalking is is very easy to to roll into if you're a member of one of our

other programs. However, if you're not a member of one of our other programs, we've put in a lot of foundation um information for you so that you can join too. This can be your first introduction to our programs. So, I'm going to try something. Hi Diane from California. Um I'm going to try something. I don't know if I can do this. I'm going to try and share my screen and you're going to have to let me know if this works and if you can still hear me because if you can't hear me then it's not going to be so great. I've never done this before on a live. I'm going to try and share my screen so that you can see what it looks like inside of the jaywalking um program. I think it's this one. Okay. Let's give it a go. Okay. So, I'm hoping you can still hear me. This is where you come back. You come in and these are all the extras for people who are not familiar with some of our games. Like, it's your choice. So, and then you come into jaywalking and you can see you get a little badge here um when you when you get through the first module. And let's go up to Oh, that one's locked. Let's go up to the overview and you can see there there's a little bit of equipment that you need. Um, but it's super easy. You can build it yourself. You can find it around the house. Um, and so you just work through each of these four modules and have a dog who will be lovely walking beside you on leash. Okay. I'm so glad that you could hear me. Woo. Um, I've never tried that before. That was really cool. So Jaywalking is a program um I put it somewhere between recallers and homeschool the dog. So the price for Jaywalking will be um $325. However, because it's brand new, it's we are kind of inviting all of you in as a beta, you know, like you're the first ones. There might be, you know, some typos. There might be we think it works really well, but if we we thought for this first inauguration, all of our foundation people, you can have it for $50. It's like 80% right now for for the our cyber event. So, um if you would if you're looking for a a great program to work your dog through and get amazing results of a dog who walks on a on a loose leash, but it also brings you um like it's because it's reinforcement games that it it's like another way of to connect with your dog. You might have a senior dog, put them through jaywalking. They don't need it, but it's a fun, engaging way for you to give them something to do that is not

not very high impact, and it's just a lot of fun for both of you. Um, do you train dogs to be service dogs? We have a lot of service dogs who have come through our program. Um, mostly it's recallers that that service dog people or people that are training their service dogs, they will go through. Um, I personally have trained service dogs, but um, we don't have a course specific to service dogs. Um, okay. Um, and we have because it's our cyber event, we have all of our programs are available right now. So, homeschool the dog and recallers and all of our agility programs. I'm going to be doing a live tomorrow if you have an interest in uh, agility. Okay. Nicole asks, uh, how does this differ from homeschool the dog? So, Homeschool the Dog is um a variety of games, 12 different games that are are are meant to give you an introduction to our program. It's like a little mini dose of recallers. It's not specific. It's a it's a general um over It's a general program that will give you a lot of skills for an amazing family pet. It isn't specific. I don't think there's anything specific in homeschool a dog for loose leash walking. So, it's very very different. But what it is similar to, how it is similar to homeschool the dog, it is in that it's the same gamebased program. It's um like I I said it it has um it's your choice is one of the foundation games in there. So, it's not it's your choice isn't part of jaywalking, but we've put the resource in there for people who might not be in homeschool. dog or recallers and might not have some of that found foundation. I mean, oh, and um, happy Thanksgiving weekend to all of our American friends who are out there. That's so true, Carol. Smaller dogs get away with a little bit more because you can just pick them up. But jaywalking is a program that honestly um I used to do competition obedience. And so there's two different ways that your dog could walk on leash. One is they're giving you focused attention and that would be more for the competition ring. Jaywalking will give you a great foundation for that. However, when I walk my dogs on leash, they're allowed to sniff. They just aren't allowed to pull. They can't drag behind. I mean, if my dogs obviously say, "I would like to um I need to sniff this spot or pee or of course I'm going to stop." But so, so there's two different ways of for me my dogs to be walking on a leash. One is more formal if I'm going to do competition obedience, which I haven't done in decades. However, this is

exactly the way I started it with my the the last few dogs that I trained to uh I think Momentum was the last dog. She's 10. Exactly the same things that I did with her. So, it's it's um this program is got way more uh it's it's more uh simplistic, easier to be successful, but it's got more layers because with momentum, I maybe um did more shaping now. It's a lot more targeting to get that behavior. So, completely different. Um I want my dog to stop sniffing so much. He is now attempting to do it again in other house. I'm not sure what that means, but so if you have a if you have a word like when we're teaching loose leash walking, we'll say with me. With me means, okay, sniffing's over. You're walking with me. Um, so I will stop and I will say sniffies and they can sniff whether they're on leash or off. And then when I say with me, sniffing's done, we're walking. All right. Uh is this the same as the one in recallers? Um yes, but it's on its own. So we gave it to people who are joining recallers. You get this program for free. So I just want to be clear. We put it in as a bonus for recallers. What you got in um recallers was the version a you know it's it's all the same teaching. It's just a um more compressed version. When we put it in the classroom, we could break it out so it's a lot more uh logical and organized and easier for follow for people to follow. We've gified it. There's badges. There's it's it's easy for people to be successful with it. Um but if you're joining recallers, you get jaywalking for free, just so you know. Okay. Um, my dogs all do heel work in obedience. It just it just doesn't transfer to a real walk. Oh, that's interesting. So, I have two separate cues. So, um, when I'm doing obedience, I have a separate I have a separate cue. Let's go. And and with me is when it's just informal. We're on a loose leash walking. So, I don't want my dogs to heal down the street the way they do in obedience. I want my dogs to watch. They give me They're not really looking at me. They're targeting an area on my hip. But I want them to keep their eyes focused on me. I don't want them to look away. Walking down the street is far more casual. Um, but I my criteria walking down the street is you don't pull. You don't like behind. You don't pull. Um. Yes. So, the program is available. Um [clears throat] so, my obedience healing was not transferring properly as well. So, a different cue when they're walking casually. Yeah, it's just so much easier for the dog. Plus, you don't want to um dilute the effectiveness of your re of your uh your cue for um precision healing. So, you want that to be um only one behavior and loose leash walking is something completely different. So, super important. I'm surprised though that there's a lot of people that use the same queue for both and they just expect their dog I mean dogs are brilliant they they do figure out. Um but I find that if you use the same cue for both that the dog doesn't really understand what is expected of them in the walking environment mostly. Um, and I, you know, when I walk my dogs here, I don't put them on leash, but when my dogs are grow are, when their puppies are being, um, raised up, they walk on leash a lot because I know that's going to be important when I go off property that they have to be able to walk on leash. So, anytime I go from the house to the building, they're always they're always on a leash for the first year of their life. Is the new apparel available to order yet? I think if it isn't like I I think the team has been a little swamped getting things ready for this big uh cyber event, but I was talking to the new manufacturer of the shirts. I that's what I used to use. Close and with me. It's been so long since I did confidential obedience. I can't even remember what I used to do. There was a time I said I used to say, "Let's go." I wanted only or um natural fibers I did. So um it the m if there's any like whatever unnatural nylon it would be a very small percentage. So this is 100% cotton. I love natural fibers so much better for all of us. Um I'd like to join the program so that my parents can have a nicer nicer walks with the dog but my parents don't speak English. Are there any tools for them to understand the things you say in the class? Um, here's what I would recommend, Miguel, is that if you sign up, I think that it the the because you

get the video and you get a handout, I think it's it will be easy to understand. Um, so check it out and we'll give you a refund if you say, "No, this isn't going to work." Um, I would like a program to teach my two Dalmatian husky 11-month-old sisters to walk on leash. Which is the best to start? Okay, Lori. Wow. Dalmatian huskys. And you have two of them. Wow. You must have a very fun house. Like a like the fun the fun house. So my first choice for anyone is to join recallers for two reasons. Number one, we get to coach you for a year. So we make sure that your uh your understanding of all of the concepts are very like very well understood that can go beyond the dogs that you have. Um number two, you can take your time working through these programs. So, um, that would be my first choice is you join recallers. You focus on the recaller games. I would say for the first month at least, because that's going to build a better relationship, and you play these games one of those girls at a time. So, what I used to do is I would put one dog in the bedroom, maybe give them a Chewy or give them a a a puzzle, food puzzle. Then you train the one and then you switch them out and you build up your relationship over the first six weeks or so in recallers. Um, and eventually you start adding in all of the things you're learning in recallers contribute to the jaywalking program. Uh, Portuguese. Uh, can you do shape by dog video on how to transfer veto game to going around a cone? Um, I think there's one on YouTube if I'm not mistaken. For sure it's in Wag Nation. It's for sure, but I it but um I'm not sure about YouTube, but for

sure it's in Wag Nation and you can join I think you can can you join Wag Nation? Somebody on the team tell me can people join Wag Nation during our cyber event now that I gone and told you. Um, so it's it's um it's a way that I teach loose leash walking without a leash. That's what jaywalking is. And um we do it by creating value for the behavior we want, which is the dog to walk beside us. And then we grow that behavior in small increments. Does recallers include? There's a version of prank games in recallers. It's not the full version. Um, but yes, Nicole, you do get it. It's it's all in it's all in like the the entire crate games. Everything you need is in there. Um, but it's just not the full version, which is a lot longer. Super Miguel, remember, just contact the team if there's any problem with the language. We'll take care of you. Uh Judy says, "All of the programs are so worth it." You know, there's reinforcement based dog training is growing in popularity. Um and the the the more it grows, the more innovative we're all getting. And so it engages the dog in a way that you've never had before. So if you've not trained your dog this way in a gainbased program, you will get amazing what I mean it's over you it's over overused the word amazing. You will get results that you've never seen before. But more than that, you're going to learn about your dog's emotional state. You're going to learn about the the what motivates your dog and you're going to grow this amazing relationship. I mean, that's why we get so excited and so passionate about people joining at events like this because we know where you're going to be in a month. You're going to be in a very different place than you are right now with your dog. You're going to see your dog very differently. You're going to be getting results right away. And I'm not going to promise you the behavior you want to get elim eliminate is going to all go away overnight. We're not we're not those people. But I will promise you will see a change probably in a week you will see a change in your dog in a week. You start playing these games and then a week and probably another two weeks later other people are going to notice what have you been doing something different with that dog because it seems like a little more settled. It doesn't seem as like like distracted or hyper. And every month beyond that, you're

going to see these crazy changes, not just in your dog, but in you as well. So that's why I say 6 months from now, you're not going to be in the same place that you are today. And that's what gets us super excited about people who who are joining us, especially if you've trained with in a different way and it and it hasn't brought you the success you wanted or you trained in a different way and you didn't like some of the things you did to your dog or maybe you've got a brand new dog and you want to make sure things get done right.
