구조 현장에서 훌륭한 일을 하고 계신 모든 멋진 분들께 말씀드립니다. 여러분께 진지하게 여쭤볼 것이 있습니다. 개가 구조 센터에 들어오게 되는 가장 주된 경로가 무엇이라고 생각하시나요? 펫숍 출신 강아지나 강아지 공장 출신 강아지일까요? 어차피 같은 맥락일 수도 있겠지만, 중간 거래상(브로커) 출신이나 무책임한 가정 번식자(백야드 브리더) 출신일까요? 아니면 길거리 유기견이나 평판 좋은 전문 브리더 출신일까요? 가장 흔한 경로 상위 3가지를 꼽아보시겠어요? 이 개들이 어디서 왔다고 생각하시나요? 여러분이 일하셨던 구조 센터에 들어온 개들 말입니다. 궁금하네요. 어떻게 생각하시나요? 제 추측으로는 평판 좋은 전문 브리더에게서 온 개는 거의 없을 것 같은데, 왜냐하면 평판 좋은 브리더란 생명을 세상에 내보내기로 결정하기 전에 미리 예방 조치를 취하고 건강 검진을 하는 사람을 정의하는 것이 아닌가요? 그리고 그들은 강아지가 최고의 삶을 누릴 기회를 갖도록 적절한 가정으로 입양되게 하죠. 그게 최고의 삶을 위한 기회를 보장하는 방법이니까요. 또한 개가 평생 언제든 문제가 생기면 그들에게 다시 돌아와야 한다는 서면 계약서도 작성하죠, 그렇죠? 그렇지 않나요?
All you amazing people out there doing great work in rescues. I have a legit question for you. What would you say is the number one path taken for a dog to get into rescue? Would it be they started out as a pet store dog, a puppy mill dog, which may be the same thing I get, a broker dog, a backyard breeder, street dog, reputable breeder. What do you think are, name your top three. Where do you think these dogs came from? That ended up in the rescues that you've worked at. I'm curious. What do you think? My hallucination is very few came from reputable breeders because isn't the definition of a reputable breeder, somebody who takes precautions, does health checks before they ever decide to put life into the world. And then they make sure that puppy gets into the right home so that they have the chance of the best life ever. And then there's a written contract that says if there's ever a problem, any point in life, that puppy comes back to them, right?
