회수견이 아닌 개라도 전달 과정을 교육한다
- 2025년 8월 6일부터 6주간 진행한다
- 개에게 물건을 전달하는 단계를 가르쳐 회수 동작을 개발한다

2. 회수 훈련의 기초 요소

Micro Pick Up and Place로 물건 옮기기를 시작한다
- 코 너비만큼의 거리라도 물건을 옮기는 것이 기초가 된다
- 5주 된 강아지가 뼈다귀를 안전한 장소로 옮기는 자연적 행동을 활용한다
야생형 회수견의 잘못된 습관을 교정한다
- 물건을 던지거나 덮치는 행동을 개선한다
- 주인 옆을 지나치거나 물건을 파괴하는 행동을 체계적인 경로로 교정한다
도망자 유형의 회수 욕구를 구축한다
- 물건을 전달해야 보상을 얻을 수 있음을 학습시킨다
- 소유 자체에서 즐거움을 느끼는 개에게 전달의 이득을 가르친다
전달 기술을 완성한다
- 물건을 주인에게 되돌려주는 동작에 대한 욕구를 높인다
- 정형화된 방식이나 잃어버린 장난감을 찾기 위한 복합 기술을 교육한다
기초 회수 후 고급 질문을 해결한다
- 이름별 분류나 짝 맞추기 등의 학습 프로젝트를 수행한다
- 기초 회수 능력이 필수적으로 선행되어야 한다

3. 훈련 철학 및 준비사항

인간의 기대를 배제하고 개 중심의 즐거움을 지향한다
- 개가 스스로 가져오기 본능을 잃지 않도록 돕는다
- 개가 무엇을 할 수 있는지 존중하며 순수한 즐거움을 부여한다
훈련 필수 요소를 구비한다
- 대부분 직접 만든 다양한 장난감과 물건을 준비한다
- 보상은 학습의 중심이므로 면밀히 검토하고 활용한다

4. 코스 운영 규칙

주간 라이브 세션 및 실습 활동에 참여한다
- 영국 시간 수요일 오후 8시(1900 GMT/UTC)에 라이브를 진행한다
- 매주 최대 6분 분량의 피드백 영상을 업로드한다
활동적 참가자의 기준을 따른다
- 라이브 세션 참여, 질문, 포럼 토론 기여를 수행한다
- 활동적 참가자에게만 수강 확인서를 제공한다

5. 학습 철학 및 능동적 태도

능동적인 학습 태도를 유지한다
- 더 나아지기 위해 노력하지 않으면 실력은 퇴보한다
- 주의를 기울이지 않고 안주하는 행동은 실력을 잃게 한다

Retrieve Workshop 개요

일정: 2025년 8월 6일 시작, 6주간 진행
목표: 'Retrieve is Life - Never Retrieve' 연속체 상의 어느 지점에 있든, 더 깔끔한 retrieve(회수) 동작, 더 높은 목적성, 또는 핵심적인 시작점을 개발함
대상: 자연스러운 retriever(회수견)가 아닌 개 포함 (물건을 입에 물고 사람에게 전달하는 과정을 즐기지 않는 개라도 그 단계를 가르칠 수 있음)

주요 학습 및 훈련 요소

Micro Pick Up and Place(초소형 집기 및 놓기):
foundation(기초) 또는 개념이 될 수 있는 가장 작은 단위의 요소
개가 물건을 한 장소에서 다른 장소로 옮기는 것 (코 너비만큼의 거리라도 상관없음)
5주 된 강아지에게서도 관찰되는 순수한 자연적 행동 (좋아하는 뼈다귀나 비스킷을 햇볕이 잘 드는 곳이나 안전한 장소로 옮기는 모습)
Wild Retrievers(야생형 회수견):
물건을 나르는 것은 매우 좋아하지만, 어떠한 구조나 체계적인 learning path(학습 경로)가 없는 개들
흔히 물건을 던지거나(tossers), 덮치거나(pouncers), 주인 옆을 그냥 지나쳐 달리거나(run-past-you), 물건을 파괴하는(destroyers) 행동을 하며 가장 좌절감을 주고 비용이 많이 드는 유형

Through the 6 weeks we shall be teaching the basic skills that builds your dogs' understanding. Even if your dog is not considered a natural retriever: a dog that enjoys the process of carrying and delivering to a person, we can teach them the steps. ➤ Micro Pick Up and Place this is the smallest possible element that can be the foundation, or concept, that your dog can move "things" from one place to another: even just the width of their nose. This is a purely natural move for a dog, taking their favourite bone or biscuit to a sunny or safe spot to enjoy is evident in 5 week old pups, of all breeds. ➤ Wild Retrievers The dogs that take tremendous pleasure is carrying objects but have no structure or organised learning path. These are often the tossers, pouncers, the run-past-you, destroyers and most frustrating and expensive dogs. ➤ The Runaways who love their favourite toys but will avoid delivery at all costs. Their pleasure is often wrapped in the possession and see no point whatsoever that can come from giving Precious to a Person. ➤ The Delivery Skills whether you are seeking the formal present with object or want to avoid field searching for missing toys we can build a desire to return objects to you for the opportunities you can guarantee. These skills are often complex requiring a merging of several skills. ➤ Advanced Questions can be answered Retrieve based on discrimination of collection, by name or category, and placement through matching can be an exciting learning project that requires a solid understanding of the foundation retrieve. See Biggles here ; the unlikeliest of retriever. There may be opportunities for additional teaching of the advanced questions in a follow up course. Getting Dog to Fetch is sometimes seen as a pre-requisite of our relationship with dogs; but more often this is an innate instincts that gets screwed up by the human expectations and even the keenest retriever can lose the joy or go quite off track. This is not an activity where the dog should be doing all the work, but a respectful appreciation of what they can do and how

we can bring pure pleasure to the process. Requirements A selection of toys and suitable objects for retrieving will be required which are mostly home made. Rewards are at the centre of the learning and always deserving of close inspection and our skilful employment.
