이 개는 훌륭한 어질리티 기술을 가지고 있습니다. 하지만 어질리티 기술을 수행할 때 속도감이나 열의를 보여줄 만큼의 자신감은 부족합니다. 그렇다고 아주 느린 편은 아닙니다. 평소에는 주의가 산만해지지도 않고요. 이번 대회를 앞두고 한 달 전부터 계획을 세웠지만, 저는 무엇보다 이 대회에서 즐거운 분위기를 만들기 위해 마음을 가볍게 가져야겠다고 생각했습니다. 그래서 제가 터그 장난감과 리드줄을 구매하는 'For My Merles'의 친구들에게 연락했습니다. 브라이언과 셜리에게 제가 보기만 해도 즐거움이 샘솟는 그런 리드줄을 만들고 싶다고 말했죠. 그걸 볼 때마다 마음이 가벼워질 수 있는 그런 리드줄 말이에요. 그래서 그들이 아주 멋진 리드줄을 만들어 주었습니다. 아름답고 밝은 색상들로요. 분홍색, 파란색, 보라색이 섞여 있어요. 그리고 콜라에는 아주 독특한 글꼴로 개의 이름을 새겨 주었는데, 그걸 보면 저절로 미소가 지어집니다. 그걸 보면 저절로 미소가 지어집니다.
This has great agility skills. She doesn't have the confidence to show a lot of speed and enthusiasm when doing those agility skills. Now, it's not like she's terribly slow. She doesn't get distracted normally. But going into this competition, I planned a month ahead of time, but I knew no matter what I wanted to have a light heart in order to create this atmosphere of joy for this. And so, I contacted my friends at For My Merles where I get my tug toys and my leashes. And I said to Brian and Shirley, I want to create a leash for this that when I look at it, it just sparks joy. When I look at it, it makes me lighthearted. So, they came up with this great leash, beautiful bright colors. It's pink, it's blue, it's purple. And they wrote her name on the collar in a really funky font that just makes me smile.
