어제 우리의 모험은 킴과 제가 토론토 국제공항에서 반려견들을 체크인하는 것으로 시작되었습니다. 일 처리가 정말 매끄러웠고, 공항 활주로에서 직원들이 반려견들에게 말을 거는 모습이 정말 보기 좋았습니다. 그리고 거너 크레이트(Gunner crates)에 반려견을 태우고 이동할 때 느껴지는 그 안정감 또한 정말 마음에 듭니다. 프로핏(Prophet)이 비행기를 타기 위해 계류장의 화물칸으로 호송되어 가는 모습을 보세요. 어디로 가냐고요? 음, 마지막에 깜짝 놀라게 해 드릴게요. 두 마리 모두 이번이 첫 장거리 비행인데, 사실 둘 다 강아지 시절에 캐나다에 있는 저희에게 올 때 비행기를 타본 적은 있습니다. 여기는 우리가 묵을 에어비앤비입니다. 두 마리 다 비행을 마치고 아무 문제 없이 잘 나왔습니다. 우리는 반려견들과 함께 시골길을 따라 기분 좋게 산책했습니다. 그리고 킴과 저는 맛있는 파스타 저녁 식사를 즐겼습니다. 게다가 직접 만든 요리였죠. 에어비앤비 주방에서 바질이 자라고 있길래, 그걸 십분 활용하기로 했습니다. 눈치채셨겠지만, 저희는 독일에 왔습니다. 앞으로 몇 주 동안 이곳에 머물 예정입니다. 프로핏은 다시 한번 자신의 형제자매들을 만나게 될 겁니다.
The adventure day for us here yesterday, it started with Kim and I checking the dogs in at Toronto International Airport. That went really smoothly and I just love how the guys talk to the dogs on the tarmac. And also love the security traveling with dogs in gunner crates gives me. And look how they escort Prophet up the runway to his hold where he will take his flight. To where? Well, we'll surprise you at the end. Both of these dogs, their first big flight down below, they both flew as puppies to us here in Canada. Here we are at our Airbnb. Both dogs came out. No problem after the flight. We took the dogs for a nice walk in the countryside. And then Kim and I enjoyed a great pasta dinner. Homemade to boot. There was basil growing in our Airbnb kitchen, so we had to take full advantage of it. And if you haven't guessed, we've come to Germany. We're going to be here for the next couple of weeks. Prophet gets to meet his brothers and sisters once again.
